Terms and Conditions Prize Draw


The Prize



  1. This prize draw will be run on a monthly basis. Each month all customers who submit a valid product registration will be entered into a prize draw and one winner will be chosen at random from the entries in that month to win back the cost of their product. The promotion will end on 31/03/2013 and the final draw will take place on 09/04/2013

  2. Customers must have purchased a qualifying Epson product and must register their product within 90 days of purchase. Qualifying products are:

  3. Customers will only be entered into one draw during the promotional period.

  4. Once the winner has been selected for each month, all draw entries will be cleared and the competition will reset itself at midnight on the last day of every month. For the avoidance of doubt, personal data captured through draw entries will not be deleted on a monthly basis but will be retained for marketing purposes as detailed below.

  5. This promotion will run from 01/08/20012 to 31/03/2013. The deadline for submission of product registrations for the purposes of each month’s prize draw is midnight on the last day of each month. The final deadline for submission of product registrations for the purposes of this prize draw is 31/03/2012 midnight.

    The procedure
    To register and enter the prize draw please go to www.register.epson-europe.com and simply complete and submit the requested details. Entries will not be accepted via any other means (e.g. post, fax or e-mail). Please retain your proof of purchase as you will be required to produce this should you win the prize draw.

  6. The proof of purchase must clearly show the following items: date of purchase, name of the Epson product purchased and the purchase price.

  7. Only one entry is allowed per person during the course of this promotion.

  8. This prize draw will be held at 1pm on the fifth working day of each new month. One winner will be chosen at random from all the correct entries received by midnight on the last day of the previous month.

  9. The winner will be notified by email within seven days of the end of the prize draw. The winner will be required to provide the proof of purchase and their bank details to Epson. A list of the winners will be sent via email. The winner must accept his or her win within 14 days of being notified by the Promoter. Failure to accept the win may result in the re-allocation of the prize to a new winner.

  10. The cash back will be paid in the form of BACS transfer within 30 days of the receipt by Epson of the proof of purchase and the winner’s bank details. The Promoter is not liable for any costs incurred by the winner relating to bank transfers of the cash back.

  11. If the winner cannot be traced after reasonable efforts have been made by the Promoter, that winner will forego the right to claim the prize and the Promoter will arrange for the prize to be re-allocated.

  12. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash or credit alternative in whole or in part. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize (in whole or in part) with any other prize of a similar value.

  13. This prize draw is only open to persons above the age of eighteen (18) and resident in UK.

  14. The prize draw is not open to any person who is directly involved in this promotion.


Use of personal data



  1. The winner hereby consents to the publication and use of his/her name for purposes of announcing the winner of this prize draw.

  2. Personal data captured during the course of the prize draw will be processed in accordance with applicable local Data Protection Laws and Regulations and the Promoter’s privacy policy. You will be able at any time to require the Promoter to modify, update, clarify or remove this personal data by writing to the Promoter’s address.

  3. The choice of removal of your personal data results in withdrawal from this promotion.

  4. The use of personal data may include informing you about the Promoter’s products, services, events or other information that might be of interest to you if you have given your prior consent for this use at the time of registration within the Promoter’ website. Each time you receive any promotional electronic communication, you will have the opportunity to opt-out by ticking the opt-out tickbox.


Other conditions



  1. The Promoter will not accept responsibility for entries lost, delayed, illegible or fraudulent or for those entries not received by the closing date. It is your responsibility to ensure that sufficient and correct details are provided for entries to be processed.

  2. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the country in which this promotion is run and come under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of that country.

  3. By entering this promotion you confirm that you have read, understood and accept the Promoter’s terms & conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend these terms and conditions without notice in the event of any circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
